John’s roots in photography began while a journalism student at the University of Utah.  He began taking photographs to accompany his articles.  John’s photographic technique and equipment have evolved over the years.  He considers the tripod his most important piece of equipment.  John captures the spirit and beauty of the Vermont landscape through his nature photography.  As an avid outdoorsman, Geery explores mountains, fields, and streams of Vermont, finding true beauty and communicating his love of the land.
