Vatsala makes practical hats from wool and synthetic fiber. She is a Clinical Microbiologist, artist, author, and mother. She came to the United States in 1996 from India. Every dollar spent on her hats goes straight to the scholarship fund for the Upper Valley Waldorf School, which offers holistic and meaningful education to children.
