Frog Hollow: Vermont State Craft Center

The cover paper of this album was created in a 150 year old post & beam barn in East Topsham, Vermont by paper maker Richard Langdell. This paper is made using 100% cotton and is embossed with a daisy pattern. The silk bookcloth on the spine is imported from China. The Chinese have known how to manufacture silk for several thousand years. Members of the imperial court, aristocrats, and the wealthy wore silk, while the masses wore cotton.
