The oldest calendar in the history of mankind is portrayed by the stone carvings at the Irish Bronze-Age passage cairns. The passages at Newgrange and Knowth are aligned with the sunset and sunrise on the solstitial and equinoctial days each year. They represent the sixteen month calendar, each month has 22 to 23 days, four weeks of five days each month, eight annual solar and seasonal events.
The Solar Month and Week Pendant is handcrafted of 24K Gold and Silver using these ancient symbols and both ancient and modern techniques.
