JULY -Featured artists Deirdre Donnelly Jewelry and Bob Crystal PotteryBorn and educated in Ireland, Deirdre Donnelly's Jewelry reflects her fire and passion for bringing ancient Celtic symbols of to life. She studied at the Jewelry Arts Institute in NYC, and still continues to hone her skills as a jeweler by continuously taking high level classes and workshops with International artists. She has found her greatest inspiration at the jeweler's bench, where hands and heart are rooted in the culture of her heritage.

Robert Crystal has been making pottery since 1969 when he stumbled into the ceramics studio at the University of Maryland. As a product of the 60's, he was intrigued as much by the medium as by the prospect of an alternate lifestyle. His work is both dynamic and functional and he loves the idea of "pots for use-that something I made might become part of someone's everyday life".Over the last 30+ years, he has also worked with larger, decorative pieces, exploring the very different statement that size can make. All of his work is of stoneware clay, high-fired in a gas reduction kiln.
Gallery Hours: Monday-Thursday 10AM-6PM, Friday-Saturday 10AM-7PM, Sunday 12-5PM.
85 Church Street, Burlington, VT 05401 802-863-6548MIDDLEBURYFeatured Artists for July : Julie Y Baker Albright Oil Painting and Anna Fadeley Pottery

Julie Y Baker Albright is a 7th generation Vermonter painting still life in the classical style from life in north light and landscape en plein air. Julie's award winning paintings have been exhibited in Juried exhibitions across the country

Top-O-Tater Pottery- Anna Fadeley makes hand-formed and decorated functional stoneware pottery in southern Vermont. Her work is found in homes and collections throughout the United States. Anna designs and produces the blue & white stoneware pottery herself. Each piece is handmade, either on a potter's wheel or from a slab of clay molded around a form. The uncomplicated shapes provide a wonderful surface for the delicate cobalt oxide blue & white brushwork decorations, which has been influenced by American Crewel, Norwegian Rosemaling and Indian Bead Work. The cobalt designs are painted individually, without patterns, on the unfired clay. After the brushwork designs are fired onto each pot, they are then dipped in a lead-free glaze and fired again to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
