Alistair's photography captures the beauty, drama, and serenity of Vermont with his images.
"The photos for sale in this on-line gallery are a selection from over 25 years of photographing the natural and pastoral landscape. For the past 20 years I have made my home in Vermont and have concentrated my work on the fields, forests and streams of this beautiful state. I use medium format cameras to record a maximum of detail and print my own work spending many hours perfecting each image. The photographs are printed on fiber based paper and are archivally processed for permanance. Each image is printed in limited editions and are signed and numbered. My photographs have been exhibited thoroughout the country and have been featured in local and national publications. It is my hope that these images can capture for you some of the beauty, drama, and serenity that I felt while photographing them."
Alistair received his formal training from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and his photographs have been featured in the April 1996 edition of Shutterbug Magazine.
