"Glass is unique as a medium; transparency, opacity, and reflectivity are the canvas and palette of my work. Each piece takes a personality of its own as it undergoes the transformation from an idea to a sketch on paper to a puzzle of precision."Robin studied Fine Arts at the Central State University in OK, in addition to her studies for her major in Chemistry. Exploring the interactions of heat and glass and the effects they have on design has been a wonderful return to her base of science and art. Robin is relatively new to glass but her creative energy and competence in her craft helped to develop another sart up studio, Frog’s Leap Art Glass, into a viable business in 2005. She is the sole developer of each pieces of glass produced in the studio, from concept to completion. Stowe Peaks Art Glass designs kiln-formed glass that abstractly, whimsically, or realistically captures the elements in nature and the history and culture that shapes our lives.
