"My work is a reflection of my life philosophy, and the way in which I strive to live."
I have been making furniture and chairs professionally for three years, and as a hobby since childhood. I am self taught through books and videos. I am a one-man shop and do all aspects of the chair-making myself. I harvest wood from our 50acre wood lot and may also purchase wood from local loggers and lumber yards. . Each chair I build is unique. My inspiration comes from the older style thumb-back chair, which I feel has a simple elegance and beauty. My future hopes for my work would be to design matching side furniture to go along with the chairs
