JEWELRY Emily Errion
Jewelry
After working in both metal and glass studios, and learning particular aspects of their respective histories, Emily Errion thought combining the two seemed a logical step. While her chain bracelets and necklaces are entirely handwoven, she often works in antique or vintage glass beads with her jewelry. For Emily's embossed jewelry, the patterns are individually hand cut in paper and then embossed onto the silver using a hand turned rolling mill.
"Patterns and shapes incorporated in the work have become the result of my own intuitive sense of design mingled with abstractions of historically based designs."
