Sheri DeFlavio lives in Vermont with her husband and two sons. The jewelry that she creates is a reflection of how she sees the world. Her pieces are meant to be beautiful at first glance, but then upon further reflection, like in life, the thing that you are looking at becomes more complex and interesting. Her designs change and live when they are on the body. Each element for every design, either metal or stone, is chosen or made to lend a unique quality to the piece. Though the designs are repeated, each piece because it is hand crafted is one of a kind. Sheri is most interested in creating a vocabulary of shapes and color that are never symmetrical and always refer back to being imperfect and beautiful all at once, just like us.
