i express to voice
the root of the stone
the suffering under
the passage of the grafted
the breath of moths
the walking mist
the mirth of ferns
the withered shadow
staring without eyes,
smiling in the light.
the fetal of a rose
the shrew's littlemost hands
digging deeper into winter.
the blood on the lock
the lichen crumbling the wall
the woven ponder
of a snail's eclipse.
the undertow
the blinking of the heart
the weeping april catalpas
the scoliosis of the sidewalk
the moon's milk
the forest
sorrowing to desert.
the warmth teething
on thinning wrists of cold.
