"For years, I have worked with color through weaving. I colored with crayons when I was very young, and painted throughout childhood and college. My practical nature turned toward weaving - art to function, art to warm and cover surfaces and bodies. My color sense is surely one of my stronger senses - the use of surprise colors, the unexpected, is my laughter as I work and gives the weaving an additonal life."
