Karen is a contemporary impressionist who paints seasonal landscapes as well as her favorite garden blooms and wildflowers. Her work, particularly the poppy series, has gained her recognition with collectors across the country. She holds membership in select art groups and societies, and exhibits regularly in regional and national art shows where her paintings have won awards. Karen also teaches workshops in pastel landscape painting and the creative process. She makes her home in Southern Vermont where she is artist-in-residence and owner of Kaos Gallery -K Baker Studios in Wilmington.
