Handmade Purses and Bags
Nancy's purses are each a unique design, hand sewn by Nancy herself. A variety of fabrics are used - vintage, quilted (made by Nancy), tapestries, silks, velvets. All bead work is done by hand, and hand-made tassels and hand- painted beads embellish the finished work.
“My mother and grandmother along with her sister taught me by example how to make beautiful things – quilts, crocheted items, clothing and household items from what appeared to be lifeless heaps of fabric. With busy hands and joyful hearts they breathed life into their work. My work is a direct expression of who I am. I am unhappy when I cannot create something with my hands"
