STEPHANIE BUSH

SHELBURNE, VERMONT

Cows are an everyday presence in Stephanie’s experience of Vermont, but they are largely peripheral. It was the desire to examine more closely that which is peripheral and overlooked that compelled her to examine a being that shares her space and ecology.

Stephanie Bush is a Montreal Native with an extensive exhibition record both nationally and internationally. She earned her MFA from the University of Waterloo, ON, with a minor in Women’s Studies. In addition to her professional art practice, she teaches art at the Community College of Vermont and The Shelburne Craft School. She is represented by the Clark Gallery in Lincoln, MA, and the Meyer Gallery in Santa Fe, NM. Stephanie resides in Vermont.
