Michael received his BA in Sculpture at the University of Vermont in 1991. His aesthetic is firmly rooted in the Venetian teamwork tradition.  This type of glassmaking requires serious discipline and dedication.  Michael looks to the patterns found in nature as inspiration for his designs. He favors classical shapes that have contemporary colors and patterns.
