KENDRA SCHPOK

NEW HAVEN, VERMONT

A life-long artist, Kendra Schpok first learned stained glass in high school, then earned a BFA in Glass in 1988 from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Since 1982, she has produced stained glass for residential and commercial commissions in both Philadelphia and Vermont.

During her 20-year career as an art therapist in the mental health field, Kendra also directed community art studios in Boulder, CO and Juneau, AK while her artwork ranged through many other mediums – oil and acrylic paint, clay, pastels, and mixed media. She revived her passion for glass in 2016. In 2018, she founded 7th Circle Glass Works in New Haven, VT.

She is currently studying kiln-worked glass with Narcissus Quagliata, incorporating this exciting new artistic direction into her stained glass panels.
